Heavy Metal Radio FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Category: Main ->

Question
·  The Point System

Answer
·  The Point System

Golden Rule: Requests Cost Points. Points Are Earned by Rating Songs

The base value to request any song is 1 point denoted by: Requests that cost 1 point

Extra points will be required as follows:

Artist already has a song in the queue
If there's already a song by the same artist in the queue then add .5 points.
The request will play according to tier guidelines.
Total cost 1.5 points denoted by: Requests that cost 1.5 points

Same song already in the queue
If the song is already in the queue, then add 1 point.
The song currently in the queue will play as normal but the request will not add the song to the queue.
This is useful for bumping up a songs request count without having to wait for the song to be requestable again.
Total cost 2 points denoted by: Requests that cost 2 points

Song recently played
If the song recently played, then add 2 points.
The request will not add the song to the queue.
This is useful for bumping up a songs request count without having to wait for the song to be requestable again.
Total cost 3 points denoted by: Requests that cost 3 points

Subject to change.
